Who is responsible

SSS Properties is the data controller for personal data processed on Renting with JOY!.

Data we collect

Account data (name, email from Google sign-in), phone number you add, property listings and photos, purchase records (property, date, access expiry), and technical data such as IP address and device information.

Why we use it and legal basis

To create your account and provide the service (contract); to show owner details to brokers who paid (contract); to keep the service secure and prevent fraud (legitimate interests); to meet legal obligations.

Who we share it with

Hosting and backend providers; Paddle, our Merchant of Record, for payments, tax and invoicing; professional advisers; and authorities where required by law. Owner phone, address and photos are shown only to brokers who have paid for that property.

Retention

We keep data while your account is active and as long as needed for legal and accounting purposes, then delete or anonymise it.

Your rights

You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing, and withdraw consent. You may complain to your data protection authority. Contact SSS Properties through the service and we will respond within one month.

Security

We use technical and organisational measures such as encryption in transit, private file storage and access controls.

Cookies

We use essential cookies/local storage to keep you signed in. We do not use marketing cookies.

International transfers

Data may be processed outside India by our providers, with appropriate safeguards.
